Holy Lord, we come to You today in remembrance of those who lost their lives on this day 20 years ago in the terrorist attacks on our nation. We also remember those who have died due to illnesses they contracted from working to find survivors in “the Pile.” We pray with thankful hearts for all those who are willing to put themselves in harm’s way to protect and serve the public. We ask for Your protection over the firefighters, emergency responders, officers in law enforcement, and all the medical personnel who work to save lives each day. Please be with them in their duties. We pray that You give them strength and hope as they courageously provide assistance to people who are experiencing trouble or crisis. We ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.

Today we remember the first responders of 9/11, those who lost their lives in the tragic events, and all who lost loved ones and had their lives forever impacted on that day.
We also lift up in prayer our first responders today. They are our friends, our family members, our neighbors, and more importantly, loved and valued by our Heavenly Father. Let us lift them up in prayer today, for their protection and safety, for their mental well-being, and with thanksgiving for their service.

The following are the friends and family of our members, who they have shared to be prayed over in their job as a first responder. We encourage you to take some time to lift them up, by name, in prayer. Pray for their safety and well-being, and with thanksgiving for their service.
