QUICK NAVIGATION
- Friday, February 13
President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump are traveling to Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina, today.

The president and first lady will meet with military families and with members of the special forces who were involved in Operation Absolute Resolve, in which the Venezuelan dictator, Nicolas Maduro, was captured.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said, “I know the president and first lady are both greatly looking forward to this visit.”
The previous administration had increased the bounty on Maduro for drug trafficking just before President Trump began his second term. The Departments of State and Justice then doubled that bounty last summer, and then the U.S. military coordinated the operation that apprehended him.

- Giving and Receiving
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. – Ecclesiastes 4:9
Billy Graham once said, “God has given us two hands, one to receive with and the other to give with.” Healthy relationships involve both parties giving and receiving. Always giving and never receiving results in a person feeling used. Someone who only receives and does not give ends up feeling useless. Poet Maya Angelou stated, “When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed.” Giving is a two-way street. Remember to give and do not be too proud to receive.
After God created Adam, He said, “It is not good that the man should be alone” (Genesis 2:18). God designed people to support each other. It is one of the ways He meets the needs of the people He created and loved. Mother Teresa said, “Holiness grows so fast where there is kindness. The world is hurting for the lack of sweetness and kindness. Remember that we need each other.” People need to hear the gospel out of caring, concern, and love. Compassion opens to door for God’s message of salvation.
When Cornelius, a Gentile believer, prayed, God told him to send for Peter. Peter considered non-Jews unclean. Through a vision, the Lord instructed Peter to go to Cornelius to share the gospel (Acts 10). God often answers prayers through one of His people. When you reach out to others in kindness, you may be an answer to someone’s prayer. Likewise, when you pray, you might receive God’s answer through a person that you’d least expect. Pray for believers in the United States to unify in the saving message of Christ, showing how God’s love overcomes political division. Ask the Lord to move in the hearts of citizens and public servants in this nation to strengthen and support each other.
Today’s Verse: Ecclesiastes 4:9
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.

7 The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. 8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
