President Donald Trump reported that the United States military is using the same missiles to strike Iranian small boats that it has used in the Caribbean to destroy narco-terrorist drug boats.

The United States has been using the APKWS missile, a 1960s-era rocket, to reduce the cost ratio that would be exorbitant if it were using the AGM-114 Hellfire. The cheaper legacy munitions require only the retrofitting of a guidance system, reducing weapons research and development time and expense.
Iran’s speedboats, which the regime calls its “mosquito fleet,” lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz and launches suicide bombing attacks in the Persian Gulf.

- Types of Comfort
The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations. – Psalm 33:11
As they arrive for training, prospective Navy SEALs are told to “get comfortable with being uncomfortable.” For many people on Earth, consciously or unconsciously, comfort is one of their highest priorities. How do you view the discomforts that you face in life?
Well-being in the life of Christ’s followers looks significantly different than for those without faith. While humankind is easily disabled by fear and tries to control what might happen next, God calls His people to look beyond the external world and anchor their hope in a grounding aspect of His character: He is unchanging. This introduces a comfort that outward circumstances cannot shake.
The apostle James describes the beauty of God’s Spirit, who is not subject to earthly physics or time, “with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change” (James 1:17). Underscoring the point, God spoke plainly through the prophet Malachi, “For I the Lord, do not change” (Malachi 3:6).
Your Lord has an unchanging heart of compassion for you. How can you be certain? Examine the Bible and the life of Jesus Christ: “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation” (Colossians 1:15). His affection for you is clear, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
Thank God today that He has made trusting Him so simple. Ask that people across the United States, especially those in positions of authority, develop solid faith in God’s unchanging nature. Get comfortable in His love and, like the Navy SEALs, you will be able to deal with any discomfort in your earthly assignment!

7 Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. 8 You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. 9 Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door. 10 As an example of suffering and patience, brothers, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.
