President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and their son Barron are expected to stay at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Their stay is subject to change following the sudden hospitalization of the president’s younger brother, Robert Trump. On Friday, the president visited the New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan.
Before departing for New York, the president said, “I have a wonderful brother. We’ve had a great relationship for a long time, from day one. He’s in the hospital right now, and hopefully, he’ll be all right.”
Originally scheduled to today, the president and U.S. trade officials were expected to take part in the next phase of trade negotiations with China. While delayed due to scheduling conflicts, Senior White House’s Economic Adviser Larry Kudlow said that both nations are making progress.
