ATF Repeals “Zero Tolerance” Policy

Attorney General Bondi says, “The 2nd Amendment is not a second-class right.”

The Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Bureau for Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) have fully repealed the Enhanced Regulatory Enforcement Policy put in place by President Biden’s administration, also known as the “Zero Tolerance Policy.” The policy permitted the ATF to revoke the licenses of gun dealers for infractions as small as simple clerical errors.

“This Department of Justice believes that the 2nd Amendment is not a second-class right,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. “The prior administration’s ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy unfairly targeted law-abiding gun owners and created an undue burden on Americans seeking to exercise their constitutional right to bear arms – it ends today.”

The ATF paused the policy in January as it instigated a formal review of its implementation.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Attorney General Bondi to seek God’s direction as she heads the Department of Justice.
  • For Acting Director and Army Secretary Dan Driscoll as he oversees the ATF.
