Her trip includes meetings with officials in Colombia and Mexico.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem visited the Terrorism Confinement Center in El Salvador on Wednesday. It is the prison that hundreds of criminal illegal aliens have been transferred to out of the United States. Salvadoran Minister of Justice Hector Gustavo Villatoro joined her on the tour, then she met with President Nayib Bukele.
DHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin said Secretary Noem’s trip “underscores the importance of our partner countries to help remove violent criminal illegal aliens from the United States.”
The DHS secretary met with President Gustavo Petro and the Colombian National Police in Colombia on Thursday. She proceeded to Mexico and met with President Claudia Sheinbaum on Friday.
As President Trump’s administration continues implementing its goal of deporting criminal migrants, Secretary Noem said, “If you are here illegally, we will find you and deport you. You will never return,”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Noem to be led by God as she implements President Trump’s immigration reforms.
- For the safety of DHS, CBP, and ICE agents and officials as they seek to detain and deport criminal aliens residing in the U.S.
