First Lady Melania Trump announced the opening of the White House grounds for Spring Garden Tours today.
The White House stated, “Visitors can explore the beauty of the South Lawn of the White House. The Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, Rose Garden, and the White House Kitchen Garden will also be accessible to guests.“
The release continued, “This event is free and open to the public. A ticket is required, however, for all attendees (including small children).“ The National Park Service and U.S. Secret Service will provide oversight of the tours.
The event was moved back a day due to safety concerns regarding scheduled demonstrations near the White House.
