The total reversed executive actions nears 100.
President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Friday that rescinded 18 executive orders signed during President Biden’s administration, bringing the total amount of former executive orders reversed by the president to nearly 100.
The most recent round of reversed executive orders covered a number of regulations focused on gender, labor policies, and industry standards. One ordered the expansion of clean energy under the Defense Production Act. Another raised the minimum wage for federal contractors to $15 per hour.
A 2021 memorandum directing the State Department to improve human rights protections for LGBTQ travelers and refugees was also reversed, which the White House said “elevated radical gender ideology in U.S. diplomacy and foreign aid.”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated, “These rescissions are necessary to end radical ideology, eliminate wasteful regulations, and prioritize the interests of American citizens.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Trump to be led by God as he implements his foreign and domestic policies.
- For the president and his administration officials to seek God’s wisdom as they reverse the actions of the prior administration.
