He seeks to have the worst ingredients removed from the nation’s food supply.
Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. met with top food executives this past week, where he informed them his department is taking all the steps necessary to remove artificial food dyes from the U.S. food system, calling them “the worst ingredients.”
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has eight artificial colors currently approved for human consumption. Secretary Kennedy is determined to eliminate their use, pledging that his agency will take action against the food companies if they do not cease the use of artificial colorants.
Secretary Kennedy has pledged to help reduce chronic illness in the United States by improving the quality of American foods.
