U.S. Pauses Intelligence Sharing with Ukraine

President Trump’s administration pushes for peace between Russia and Ukraine.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz confirmed that the White House has paused intelligence-sharing with Ukraine, part of a broader effort to bring President Volodymyr Zelensky back to discussing steps to peace.

“We have taken a step back, and are pausing and reviewing all aspects of this relationship,” Advisor Waltz said.

Director Ratcliffe said President Zelensky’s conciliatory message on Monday showed this decision to rescind intelligence sharing has been effective.

“I think on the military front and the intelligence front, the pause that allowed that to happen I think will go away, and I think we’ll work shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine as we have to push back on the aggression that’s there, but to put the world in a better place for these peace negotiations to move forward,” Director Ratcliffe said.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump, Director Ratcliffe, and Advisor Waltz as they work to bring about peace between Ukraine and Russia.
  • For wisdom for U.S. officials as they negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine.
