The judge ordered President Trump’s administration to restore LGBTQ information to the federal health website.
Representative Andy Ogles of Tennessee introduced an article of impeachment against District Judge John Bates this past week, accusing the judge of aligning himself with child predators after he ordered President Donald Trump’s administration to temporarily restore online health data connected with homosexuality and transgender issues.
In early February, Judge Bates ruled in favor of the health advocacy group Doctors for America, stating that the administration violated federal healthcare law by removing large swaths of health data without prior notice. The federal health department was implementing an executive order signed by President Trump instructing the federal government to recognize only two biological sexes and eliminate “gender ideology.”
The article of impeachment states that District Judge John Bates’s order for the president’s administration to restore the health data was “so utterly lacking in intellectual honesty and basic integrity that he is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.”
“At no point in American history has the judiciary considered the surgical or chemical castration of healthy children to be a compelling or even legitimate health concern and it shouldn’t start now. We must protect our children from predators like Judge Bates,” Congressman Ogles stated.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For members of Congress as they seek to prevent overreach from the Judicial Branch.
- For President Trump and administration officials as they implement changes to federal policies.
