White House Says Musk not the DOGE Administrator

He does not have any more authority than any other White House advisor.

President Donald Trump answered questions regarding Musk’s title on Monday, commending his efforts to cut costs in the federal government.

President Trump stated, “Elon is, to me, a patriot. So, you know, you could call him an employee, you could call him a consultant, you could call him whatever you want. But he’s a patriot.“

In response to a legal challenge to the billionaire’s government status, White House Office of Administration Director Joshua Fisher stated, “He holds that position as a non-career Special Government Employee. In that job, he is a Senior Advisor to the President. Mr. Musk has no greater authority than other senior White House advisors.” He said Musk is not the DOGE administrator.

When asked about potential conflicts of interest within Musk’s governmental role, President Trump expressed confidence in Musk’s ability to keep his private businesses away from his federal activity.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump and Advisor Musk as they seek to reduce government wasteful spending.
  • For administration officials as they implement the president’s changes to policies and programs.
