SpaceX to Assist FAA in Modernizing Air Traffic Systems

The transportation secretary also says none of the recently released personnel were air traffic controllers.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy met with a SpaceX team to receive input and feedback on creating “a new, better, modern, and safer system“ for managing air traffic. Secretary Duffy said in order to accomplish President Trump’s desired assurance of safe air travel, “I need advice from the brightest minds in America. I’m asking for help from any high-tech American developer or company that is willing to give back to our country.”

He also stated that “less than 400” employees were released from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) during the most recent personnel purge over the weekend by President Trump’s administration.

Secretary Duffy stated, “The FAA alone has a staggering 45,000 employees. Less than 400 were let go, and they were all probationary, meaning they had been hired less than a year ago. Zero air traffic controllers and critical safety personnel were let go.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Transportation Secretary Duffy as he oversees efforts to improve the safety of air travel.
  • For DOGE, SpaceX, and FAA officials as they address air traffic management in the United States.
