Today, Secretary of State Marco Rubio extended his trip to the Middle East an extra day. He is discussing details of the potential peace agreement to end the Russia-Ukraine war announced by President Donald Trump after the president spoke to Presidents Putin and Zelenskyy last week.

Secretary Rubio was joined by National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, and Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Russian Aide to the President Yuri Ushakov.

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, chaired by Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, is holding a confirmation hearing on President Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Labor, Lori Chavez-DeRemer.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Rubio to receive God’s guidance as he discusses the next phase of the Gaza ceasefire and the potential peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
  • For members of the Senate as they continue the confirmation process for the president’s nominees.
  • For wisdom for President Trump and his advisors as they continue to set policy and seek to reduce government spending.
