Administration Announces $7 Billion Arms Sale to Israel

The State Department authorized the second deal after Congress blocked the first.

President Trump’s administration announced a second weapons package for Israel late last week after Congress blocked its first proposed weapons package last Tuesday.

The blocked package was worth $1 billion and proposed hundreds of 1,000-pound munitions and dozens of armored bulldozers. This second package, which was approved by the State Department and does not require Congressional approval, will send $6.75 billion in munitions, bombs, and missiles to Israel in waves between now and 2028.

“The proposed sale improves Israel’s capability to meet current and future threats, strengthen its homeland defense, and serves as a deterrent to regional threats,” the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) stated. “Israel already has these weapons in its inventory and will have no difficulty absorbing this equipment into its armed forces.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary of State Rubio to be led by the Lord as he oversees the State Department.
  • For discernment for President Trump and administration officials as they provide Israel with additional support.
