Education Department Investigates Two Colleges Allowing Transgender Athletes

The department implements President Trump’s executive order, signed last week.

The Department of Education launched investigations into two colleges and an athletic association for allowing transgender athletes on women’s sports teams, following up on President Donald Trump’s executive order signed last week, “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports.“

“We are putting every school receiving taxpayer dollars on notice: If you let men take over women’s sports teams or invade your locker rooms, you will be investigated for violations of Title IX and risk your federal funding,” President Trump said during the signing of the executive order at the White House.

Acting Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights, Craig Trainor said, “President Trump’s Executive Order ‘Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports’ is a promise to women and girls: this administration will not tolerate the mistreatment of female athletes. The Department is taking swift action to investigate three entities for suspected Title IX violations: San Jose State University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Acting Assistant Secretary Trainor to be led by the Lord as he oversees the Office of Civil Rights.
  • For the president and members of his Cabinet as they seek to protect women’s athletics from biological men.
