President Donald Trump announced at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday morning that he would sign an executive order forming a task force to end the weaponization of the government against Christians. He named Attorney General Pam Bondi as the chair of the task force. The group will review all agency and department activities to find and eliminate anti-Christian policies and practices.
The president said the task force would “immediately halt all forms of anti-Christian targeting and discrimination within the federal government, including at the DOJ, which was absolutely terrible, the IRS, the FBI — terrible — and other agencies.”
President Trump also said the attorney general would “fully prosecute anti-Christian violence and vandalism in our society and to move heaven and earth to defend the rights of Christians and religious believers nationwide.”
