Federal Agencies Ordered to Remove Pronouns from Email Addresses

The memo was sent to DOE, DOT, HHS, and CDC.

President Trump’s administration has begun implementing two executive orders recently signed by President Donald Trump, sending a memo to employees of multiple federal agencies instructing them to remove pronouns from their email signatures.

“Pronouns and any other information not permitted in the policy must be removed from CDC/ATSDR employee signatures by 5.p.m. ET on Friday,” according to one such message sent to staff of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) last week.

Similar messages were sent to the Departments of Transportation (DOT), Energy (DOE), and Health and Human Services (HHS).

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the heads of the federal departments as they work to ensure compliance with the unwinding of DEI practices in the government.
  • For President Trump and his advisors as they seek ways to run government agencies more efficiently and cost-effectively.
