Melania Trump to Expand “Be Best” Children’s Online Wellness Project

She hopes online companies will be more supportive during this second term.

Returning First Lady Melania Trump said during a recent interview that she intends to expand her youth online wellness program “Be Best” once she returns to the White House. The awareness campaign was originally focused on promoting healthy social media use among children, but then expanded to include general online safety strategies.

“There is one goal to Be Best — and that is to educate children about the many issues they are facing today,” she said as she launched the campaign in 2018.

Mrs. Trump shared last week that she felt her campaign did not build as much momentum as it could have, saying, “In the first administration, I didn’t have much support from anyone.”

“I invited all of the streaming platforms to the White House. I had the roundtable. And I didn’t have much support from them,” she continued. “Imagine what we could do in those years if they will rally behind me, and teach the children and to protect them about social media and their mental health?”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the first lady and her team as they seek to promote the protection of children and adolescents’ mental health.
  • For wisdom for the president and first lady as they seek to prevent damage to children through social media use.
