President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will attend the 47th Kennedy Center Honors today.
The president will host Kennedy Center Honorees in the East Room of the White House, with the vice president and her husband.
The Kennedy Center Honors, presented annually since 1978, are given to five performing artists for lifetime contributions to U.S. culture. A gala is held at the Kennedy Center Opera House in Washington, D.C.
