In the News…

Congresswoman Nancy Mace of South Carolina has introduced legislation that would ban men from using women’s restrooms. Representative Mace made this move after Sarah McBride of Delaware, a transgender legislator formerly named Time, won election to the U.S. House of Representatives. McBride previously served in the Delaware State Senate.

The congresswoman from South Carolina directly stated that, as a survivor of rape, she introduced the resolution to prohibit legislators or House employees from “using single-sex facilities other than those corresponding to their biological sex.”

“This is a biological man trying to force himself into women’s spaces, and I’m not going to tolerate it,” said Representative Mace. “I’m absolutely 100% gonna stand in the way of any man who wants to be in a women’s restroom, in our locker rooms, in our changing rooms. I will be there fighting you every step of the way.”
