National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said of the meeting, “Transitions are uniquely consequential moments in geopolitics. They’re a time when competitors and adversaries can see possibly opportunity.”
Advisor Sullivan continued, “And so part of what President Biden will communicate is that we need to maintain stability, clarity, predictability through this transition between the United States and China.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Biden to be discerning in discussions with the Chinese president during their meeting.
- For U.S. officials as they pursue the current administration’s goals in the remaining months of the term.
- For wisdom for the president-elect as he continues to nominate officials to his incoming administration.
