U.S. District Judge Refuses to Move Musk Case to Federal Court

DA claims the election registration lottery violates state law.

U.S. District Judge Gerald Pappert denied Elon Musk’s request to move the case against his America PAC’s $1 million prizes to federal court.

Musk established his America PAC earlier this month in an effort to support former President Donald Trump’s campaign. To encourage supporters in Pennsylvania, a swing state, to register to vote, Musk promised to select one registered voter per day to receive $1 million. He has thus far chosen 10 winners.

The Philadelphia district attorney claims the election registration lottery violates Pennsylvania state law. Musk unsuccessfully claimed that the lawsuit involved federal law.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For federal judges as they hear cases regarding election law and voting.
  • For judges at the federal, state, and county levels as they consider cases regarding ballots and election registration.
