Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in the United Kingdom. After meeting with leaders in Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, Secretary Blinken is discussing the situation in the Middle East with British counterparts.

The U.S. secretary of state has been promoting the opportunity for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, and potentially with Hezbollah as well, in the aftermath of the assassination of Yahya Sinwar.

Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard Verma is in Paris, France, for the International Conference in Support of Lebanon’s People and Sovereignty hosted by the Government of France. The deputy secretary is discussing the need to reach a diplomatic resolution that will enable civilians on both sides of the Blue Line to return home.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary of State Blinken to be discerning as he engages British leaders regarding Middle Eastern conflicts and potential peace agreements.
