Today, Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment Jose Fernandez is participating in the 9th Annual U.S.-Republic of Korea (ROK) Senior Economic Dialogue (SED) in Atlanta. In the last three years, South Korea has invested over $24 billion in the private sector of Georgia.
“During his meetings, Under Secretary Fernandez will promote the strengthening of the U.S.-ROK alliance, emphasizing the importance of close cooperation on economic security, the clean energy transition, and climate finance,“ State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said.
“He’ll also highlight how the Biden-Harris Administration’s signature legislative achievements, including the Inflation Reduction Act and the CHIPS and Science Act, have catalyzed foreign direct investment in Georgia and the United States.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Under Secretary Fernandez to be led by God as he engages officials from the ROK.
- For U.S. leaders as they encourage and incentivize foreign investments in this nation.
- For the president, vice president, and their economic advisors as they pursue administration goals.
