Wisconsin Judge Rules RFK Jr. Will Remain on Ballot

County circuit judge agrees with state election commission that it is too late for the candidate to be removed.

A Wisconsin county circuit judge has ruled that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., must remain on the state’s ballots. He agreed with the Wisconsin Election Commission that, under state law, it was too late for a candidate to withdraw.

“Courts are required to apply the law as written, not as some party wishes it were written,” the judge wrote. “Under the statute, the commission clearly was correct when it certified Mr. Kennedy for inclusion on the November ballot.”

Kennedy, who suspended his campaign in August and endorsed former President Donald Trump, intends to appeal the decision. The Michigan Supreme Court ruled similarly that he must remain on the ballot, while North Carolina’s Supreme Court recently decided he would be removed.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For wisdom for judges at each level of government as they hear cases regarding voting and elections.
  • For state election officials to officiate their elections with integrity and accuracy.
