The presidential candidate is declared to have standing in his First Amendment rights case.
U.S. District Judge Terry Doughty recently ruled that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and his charitable organization have standing to sue the president’s administration for suppressing the criticism of vaccine-related policies.
Judge Doughty wrote, “The Court finds that Kennedy is likely to succeed on his claim that suppression of content posted was caused by actions of Government Defendants, and there is a substantial risk that he will suffer similar injury in the near future.”
Information posted by the presidential candidate was censored as “misinformation” on social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, at the request of government officials. The case now goes to the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
Freedom of speech and other rights under the First Amendment are important issues in this presidential election cycle.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For discernment for federal judges as they hear and decide cases regarding the rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.
- For U.S. governing officials to uphold the Bill of Rights and the freedoms of American citizens.
