Today, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are campaigning in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is their first event together since the vice president accepted the nomination of the party as their candidate in November’s election.
The president and vice president will highlight “the importance of American workers and unions to building a strong middle class and growing the economy” and speak about the progress the administration has made in its agenda. Vice President Harris will join President Biden in Pittsburgh after visiting Detroit, Michigan.
Vice Presidential candidate Governor Tim Walz will campaign in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, while Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff campaigns in Newport News, Virginia.
