Seeking
The objective of the children’s hide-and-seek game is not to be discovered. Thankfully, God doesn’t play that game with you. The Lord wants you to have such a deep longing for Him that you spend time in prayerful searching the Scriptures, where you will find Him (John 5:39). Moreover, as it says in Isaiah 55:6, “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near.” He wants you to come to Him in prayer – to call upon Him because He is right there at your side, not hidden from you at all. “For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the Lord our God is to us, whenever we call upon him?” (Deuteronomy 4:7). Commit and devote yourself to seek Him and call on Him. The Lord desires for you to know Him and spend time with Him.
