EPA Selects 25 Clean Energy Projects to Receive $4.3 Billion

The funding will go toward reducing greenhouse gas emissions across variety of sectors.

President Biden’s administration announced $4.3 billion for 25 clean energy projects, working to distribute the funding allocated by the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act before the end of the current presidential term. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is managing the funding that will be delivered this fall to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in construction, transportation, manufacturing, and several other key sectors.

The funds “will help implement community-driven solutions that reduce air pollution, advance environmental justice, and help accelerate America’s clean energy transition,’’ said EPA Administrator Michael Regan. Leaders from the 35 states the projects are based in released a number of their own statements voicing enthusiasm for the substantial investment.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Administrator Regan and members of the EPA as they partner with state governments to improve the environment.
  • That the recipients of this funding put it to efficient and effective use.
  • For the president and his administration advisors as they complete the current term.
