Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Lee Satterfield is in Paris, France, heading the delegation at UNESCO’s Sports Ministerial ‘Change the Game’ Conference.
State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said the assistant secretary will also “participate in public diplomacy engagements to elevate sports as a diplomatic platform to bring people together and promote peace.“
He continued, “The Assistant Secretary will participate in numerous public diplomacy engagements during her trip, with a variety of engagements with the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC), as well as sports diplomacy engagements with the U.S. Embassy in Paris.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For discernment for Assistant Secretary Satterfield as she engages in diplomatic efforts around the Olympic games in Paris.
- For Secretary Blinken and U.S. ambassadors to receive God’s guidance in their diplomatic efforts.
- For the president and his advisors as they focus on the remainder of his term in office.
