Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has begun a National Summer Construction Tour this week.
Secretary Buttigieg met with Governor Roy Cooper in North Carolina for the groundbreaking of the S-Line Project, which is anticipated to revitalize passenger rail in the Southeast Corridor.
The transportation secretary is visiting active construction sites and groundbreaking for infrastructure projects across the nation that are supported by the president’s Investing in America Agenda.
