Today, Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland is heading the U.S. delegation of diplomats to the Fourth International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS) meeting in Antigua and Barbuda.

State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said the “conference will address the theme of ‘Charting the course toward resilient prosperity,‘ aiming to help SIDS address their unique development challenges and accelerate their sustainable development.“

“SIDS is a group comprised of 39 UN member nations and 18 associate members of regional commissions facing unique challenges related to geography. The SIDS Conference is an opportunity to discuss how the world can help SIDS address their development challenges and accelerate their sustainable development.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Haaland to receive God’s direction as she heads the delegation.
  • For wisdom for U.S. diplomats as they engage with the representatives of UN member nations at the conference.
  • For the president and administration officials to have their hearts drawn to the Lord and make decisions that glorify Him.
