In the News…

Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has maintained strong support for Israel as some in his party have become critical of that nation.

After Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Israel should hold elections for a new prime minister, Senator Fetterman said it was one thing to criticize another country, but he disagreed with calling for a change in leadership.

He said, “I didn’t agree because Israel is a democracy, it is our key special ally. And our nation wouldn’t appreciate any kind of foreign input. So why should we do that for Israel?”

As President Biden’s administration indicated that support for Israel would be conditional after an airstrike killed aid workers, Senator Fetterman stated, “In this war against Hamas – no conditions for Israel.“
