Today is known as “Super Tuesday“ in the U.S. presidential election cycle. It is the day when the largest number of states hold their presidential primary elections. This year, fifteen states are holding their primaries today.
President Joe Biden returns to the White House today from Camp David. As part of the administration’s National Consumer Protection Week, he will host a meeting of the White House Competition Council, which includes secretaries from his Cabinet and chairs of the FCC, SEC, FTC, and other trade and transportation-related agencies.
The president stated, “As my Administration continues to build an economy that works for everyone, we cannot let fraud, cybercrimes, or unfair business practices interrupt the progress we have made. During National Consumer Protection Week, we recommit to protecting the rights of consumers and spreading awareness about the resources people have to defend themselves from predatory acts.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the president and members of the Competition Council as they convene to discuss ways to prevent corporate monopolies and safeguard American consumers.
- For the president and administration officials to receive God’s direction as they determine how to address the nation’s issues.
- For wisdom for U.S. voters as they cast their ballots in the states holding their primaries today.
