Executive Branch: Pray for the President and his Administration
The Environmental Protection Agency proposed a new regulation that would fine oil and gas companies for methane emissions. The agency stated that this action “will support a complementary set of technology standards and historic resources from the Inflation Reduction Act, to incentivize industry innovation and prompt action.”
Pray for the president and EPA administrator as the administration continues to pursue green agenda rules and regulations.
Legislative Branch: Pray for Senators and Representatives in Congress
A group of senators led by Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas have written to Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra urging him to rescind a proposal that would force foster families to affirm the so-called “gender identities” of the children in their care. The senators said such a rule should be within the purview of each state to make its own judgment, and that it is not within the authority of HHS “to impose its own woke ideology in place of states’ judgments.”
Pray for legislators in Congress as they challenge the proposed HHS rule that would exclude children from being part of foster families with faith-based ideals.
PRAY FOR CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEES
Members of the House Small Business Committee have asked the State Department’s Global Engagement Center for more information on grants it has awarded. The committee’s request includes records of grants that ultimately funded organizations focused on silencing conservative voices in Washington.
Pray for members of Congress as they investigate government censorship in general and the “revenue interference” of small businesses in America.
Judicial Branch: Pray for Supreme Court Justices and Federal Judges
A U.S. District Court judge in Florida has ruled that a law banning Americans from possessing guns in postal offices is unconstitutional. She dismissed part of an indictment against a postal worker for having a gun in a federal building. The judge said the criminal charges violated his Second Amendment rights.
Pray for federal judges as they continue to hear cases regarding the violation of the Bill of Rights.
