President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump are staying in the White House today and have no public events on their schedule. The president arrived back in Washington, D.C. early this morning following the campaign events in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Because of the late night, he is expected to rest ahead of the busy upcoming week.
While speaking during an interview on Saturday, the president said that the administration will be announcing new rules on employment-based immigration visas either today or on Monday. As the nation begins to recover from the COVID-19 outbreak, the president is focusing on improving employment numbers and spurring economic growth. He added that reevaluating the visa program was part of ensuring that American citizens had first access to jobs and employment within the United States.
