Executive Branch: Pray for the President and his Administration
The Department of Transportation’s Marine Administration announced it is investing more than $653 million from the infrastructure bill to “expand capacity and speed up the movement of goods through our ports.”
Pray for Transportation Department officials as they fund port projects to improve the reliability of America’s supply chains.
Legislative Branch: Pray for Senators and Representatives in Congress
Representatives Ruben Gallego of Arizona and Don Bacon of Nebraska sent a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen expressing concerns about the export of oil to China from Iran. The legislators asked for information on the plans of the administration to “use all available tools at its disposal to halt Iran’s financing, arming, and training of terrorist organizations, including Hamas and Hezbollah.”
Pray for federal legislators in both chambers of Congress as they address concerns over the actions of Iran, including the export of oil to China.
PRAY FOR CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEES
The House Judiciary Committee has opened an investigation into the nation’s intelligence agencies for allegedly obstructing the oversight of the business dealings of President Biden’s family. This occurred after Senator Charles Grassley of Iowa accused the FBI of undermining congressional oversight by portraying their investigation as foreign disinformation.
Pray for members of the House and Senate committees as they conduct investigations into the obstruction by U.S. intelligence agencies and their refusal to cooperate with Congress.
Judicial Branch: Pray for Supreme Court Justices and Federal Judges
The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case regarding the possible violation of the First Amendment. At issue is a former New York State Department of Financial Services superintendent who encouraged companies to stop doing business with the National Rifle Association following the 2018 school shooting in Parkland, Florida.
Pray for the Supreme Court justices as they determine whether the official leveraged government power in an unconstitutional manner.
