With man, this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. – Matthew 19:26
Have you faced an impossible situation? Maybe you are in a season where the path ahead is totally obscured. Many believers have lived through circumstances in which only God could provide the solution, be it for provision, healing, or restoration. In today’s verse, Jesus acknowledges that there are certain things in life that only God can change. The Savior encourages you to persevere, to keep asking for what you need, seek God for the wisdom and answers, and continue to knock on the doors that you hope to be opened (Luke 11:9). While many events that are happening in this nation and the world at large are disheartening, remember that Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33). As you pray for the leaders in this nation, remember all the ways, not only in Scripture but in your own life, that God has miraculously shown up and praise Him for His faithfulness.
As the Lord leads, pray with us…
- For senators and representatives in Congress as they address situations that seems impossible.
- For U.S. officials to recognize the Lord as the ultimate Authority and the Restorer of broken things.
