The justices of the Supreme Court are hearing oral arguments early this week. They will then be in conference on Friday.
Today’s case, Culley v Marshall, deals with whether or not a state or local government must provide a hearing to someone who has had property seized under a civil asset forfeiture law.
Tomorrow, the justices will hear arguments in O’Connor-Ratcliff v. Garnier and Lindke v. Freed regarding whether government officials blocking individuals on social media on their personal accounts are in violation of the First Amendment.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For discernment for the justices of the Supreme Court as they hear oral arguments in these cases.
- For judges in federal district and circuit courts to seek God’s guidance as they issue opinions.
- For the president and members of his administration as they determine whom to nominate to federal judicial vacancies.
