Today, First Lady Jill Biden is in Paris, France. She will deliver remarks to commemorate the United States’ formal rejoining of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
The U.S. withdrew from UNESCO nearly five years ago citing a bias against Israel. The organization, which promotes international collaboration regarding education, science, and culture, was formed in 1945. The group also designates Work Heritage sites.
First Lady Jill Biden, who is accompanied on the trip by her daughter Ashley, will meet with First Lady Brigitte Macron of France at the Elysee Palace prior to the UNESCO ceremony.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the safety of the first lady and her daughter on their trip to France.
- For wisdom for the president and his advisors as they determine the international organizations in which to fund and participate.
- For the chair and members of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee as they hear testimony on principles for AI regulation today.
