Today, President Joe Biden is traveling to the United Kingdom. White House Press Secretary Jean-Pierre said, “President Biden will first travel to London, United Kingdom for engagements with King Charles III and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to further strengthen the close relationship between our nations.“
The president welcomed the U.K. prime minister to the White House for the first time in early June. The two announced the Atlantic Declaration at that time. President Biden stated the plan “outlines how we can enhance our cooperation to accelerate the clean energy transition that must take place and is taking place, lead the development of emerging technologies that are going to shape so much of our future and protect technologies critical to our national security.“
