For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world. – Romans 1:20
Every cell in your body contains DNA, that interestingly beautiful spiral staircase with rungs like letters in the alphabet, ascending and descending, spelling out words and meanings. Genome researchers say there are around three billion letters in human DNA, containing enough information to grow a baby from a fertilized egg to the combinations of organs and hair you see walking down the street. It’s God’s personal software that is just yours.
Apart from that, you look out at night and see stars, planets, galaxies with your own eyes, and telescopes like the Hubble have provided photographs of unsurpassing beauty.
Just as art museums tell you about the artists, the things that nature reveals from micro to macro reveal a designer, an intelligence, a power not explained any other way but to call them God. These are all what theologians title General Revelation.
How blessed humankind is that God did not stop there; but He gave us a Special Revelation, through His Word and in disclosing Himself to people in the Old Testament, and through His Son Jesus in the New Testament. By revealing Himself, he leaves you without excuse from responding. The fool says there is no God (Psalm 14:1). Pray today that men and women in positions of authority in America would set aside pride and the desire for control, and turn to believe in the God of revelation.
Today’s Verse: Romans 1:20
For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
2 Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
4 Their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for the sun,
5 which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber,
and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.
6 Its rising is from the end of the heavens,
and its circuit to the end of them,
and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple;
8 the precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes;
9 the fear of the Lord is clean,
enduring forever;
the rules of the Lord are true,
and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb.
11 Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.
