He continues to offer support to that nation.
On Tuesday, President Joe Biden commemorated the one-year anniversary of a terrorist attack against civilians in the United Arab Emirates. Though the country’s air defense systems managed to knock a few drones out of the sky, attacks launched from Yemen landed a strike that killed three Emirati civilians. President Biden offered his condolences to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and reaffirmed the United States’ support for the UAE.
“We remain steadfast in our pursuit of diplomacy to bring a peaceful end to the war in Yemen, and the United States will continue to support the security of the UAE and our other partners in the Middle East, including providing needed military assistance,” President Biden stated. “Therefore, as we commemorate the tragic events of one year ago, we stand resolute to ensure it cannot happen again.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Biden and his administration as they offer support and commemorate tragedies that occur in other nations.
- For the leaders of Middle Eastern countries as they endeavor to prevent terrorism.
