Forever stamp set will be available in 2023.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) released its newest forever stamp design that features an oil-painted portrait of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. USPS Art Director Ethel Kessler partnered with artist Michael J. Deas to create the design, which is based on a photograph taken by Philip Bermingham. This portrait and other new forever stamp designs will be launched in 2023.
“After beginning her career as an activist lawyer fighting gender discrimination, Justice Ginsburg became a respected jurist whose important majority opinions advancing equality and strong dissents on socially controversial rulings made her a passionate proponent of equal justice and an icon of American culture,” the agency said in a description of the forthcoming stamp.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For wisdom for Postmaster DeJoy as he heads the U.S. Postal Service.
- For the justices of the Supreme Court as they hear and decide cases.
- For the jurists around the nation who have been inspired by Justice Ginsburg.
