Spiritual Famine
Pastors and others have declared over the years that, to be prepared for the End Times, you should stock up on foods with a 30-year shelf life. Contrast that with news coming out of Ukraine that the nation has sold out of Bibles. When terrible things happen, the inner cry of human beings is to hear something hopeful from God. People search for answers and they often don’t realize why. While food and water are life essentials, even those who aren’t spiritually minded want to hear from God. America is on the precipice of spiritual hunger. The people of this nation need more of the Word of God, not less. Faith increases as you hear the words of the Lord. Acting on His Word helps to stave off spiritual famine. Saturate your mind with His Word every day.
