President Joe Biden is scheduled to spend the weekend at his beach home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. He has no public events on his agenda at this time.
He delayed his departure from Washington to sign the long-awaited bipartisan infrastructure bill that was passed by the House of Representatives in a 228-206 vote held late Friday night.
Earlier Friday evening, the president encouraged the representatives, stating, “I am urging all members to vote for both the rule for consideration of the Build Back Better Act and final passage of the bipartisan infrastructure bill tonight.” He added, “I am confident that during the week of Nov. 15, the House will pass the Build Back Better Act.”
