Though, it is “not the time to take your foot of the accelerator,” according to Dr. Anthony Fauci.
During the White House Coronovirus Task Force briefing on today, Dr. Anthony Fauci announced that, in certain areas, case numbers for positives in the coronavirus spread are beginning to level off. After strict adherence to federal guidelines, both Seattle and San Francisco released preliminary information indicating a reduction in the number of new confirmed cases.
Dr. Fauci did say that this is “not the time to take your foot of the accelerator.” He and administration officials expect things will get worse before they get better. But models shared by Dr. Birx are showing on a day-to-day basis that there are places where mitigation is working.
That mitigation is centered around the American people of every age group, ethnic group, and religious group needs to follow the guidelines.
