Virginia and New Jersey hold gubernatorial elections and several cities vote to elect mayors.
Even though November 2, 2021, is an odd-numbered election year and date, there are still a number of races to watch and pray over. There are Congressional district elections including Florida’s 20th District primaries and Ohio’s 11th and 15th congressional districts holding special elections.
There are gubernatorial, lieutenant gubernatorial, attorney general and state supreme court seats also up for voter decisions: Virginia’s governor and lieutenant governor races have occupied most media coverage; New Jersey’s governor and lieutenant governor; Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and the attorney general for Virginia.
There are 99 state legislative chambers holding regularly scheduled elections including in Virginia and New Jersey. And there are a number of city battleground elections also, including those for mayors of Atlanta, Boston, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Miami, Minneapolis, Seattle, and St. Petersburg.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- Pray for the voters of states where elections are being held
- Pray for an easy and transparent voting process in each election
- Pray for the election commissions and local volunteers serving their states and communities
