Oversees Tornado Response
On Friday, President Trump traveled to various towns within Putnam County, Tennessee following the devastating tornado that ravaged the region earlier in the week. The tornado killed 18 people and tore up two miles of heavily populated areas. The President also visited a local church that was passing out supplies to those affected by the storm.
The President praised the “tremendous heart” of those caring for people whose homes and livelihoods were impacted by the damage. He assured the residents of the town that the U.S. would continue to support them saying, “we are with you all the way.” Following his visit to Tennessee, President Trump returned to Washington to oversee the ongoing efforts to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- That God would help those affected by the terrible storm to recover wholly and quickly.
- That FEMA would be guided on how best to help those in Tennessee recover from these storms.
- For President Trump to help the nation heal after this natural disaster.
