Day 10 – A Greater Plan (Election Day)
Isaiah 46:9-10 – I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, “My counsel will stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose.”
PRAYER POINTS TO GUIDE YOU AS YOU PRAY
- Pray for each American going to the polls today.
- Pray for wisdom for voters as they consider the candidates.
- Pray for voters to be safe and that polling places will be peaceful and organized.
- Pray for those in election offices who will be responsible for counting the votes of the people.
- Pray about court challenges that are or will be underway and for the judges who will hear them.
- Pray that Christians will seek unity with one another regardless of political persuasions, knowing that it is God’s purposes that are being worked out.
- Pray that the candidates, whether in victory or in defeat, will be ready to accept the election results.
- Pray, as close to half of the nation will be disappointed in the results.
- Pray for compassionate understanding to those and from those whose positions differ greatly from your own.
- Pray for pastors and leaders of America’s churches and the follow-ups they will take to the election results when speaking to their congregations.
- Pray for national healing.
